I am an avid year home audio/theater enthusiast and own and have a lot of experience high end home theater gear.
We have been looking for replacement TV for our bedroom for about 6 months - I have shopped all the stores and was not satisfied witht the poor picture quality of what they had to offer for smaller LCD TV's. We really liked the larger LED TV's but they were too big for our bedroom - then we accidentally found this TV on Amazon and decided to take a chance and I am glad we did.
Great picture - I have it hooked up to a rooftop antenna and the HDTV tuner works great - no issues. Played a standard DVD and it looks good as well
Sound is fine for a bedroom, just turn the surround option off and increase the bass level and souds fine, but I think if this TV was in a room larger than 12 X 15 you would need some other speakers.
Should note if the TV is above eye level the angle of the TV screen is tilted upwards, which makes it difficult to see - but you can simply angle it down and problem solved
In summary - I cannot find fault with this product, we are very satisfied and would highly recommend. |
It is what it is- a Great Value!

It is what it is. Now I am going to save some of you some time.
If you have the TiVo HD with this use the Samsung code 305. The remote seems to have Samsung parts. So the set may have Samsung parts as well.
For sound, hook up a set of 50 to 100 dollar PC speakers with woofer (you probably have a set of low-end Yamahas in the closet or your attic) to the headset connection. Sounds great! See a previous review about surround sound cuz I am not using this in my office. Display is great, has a nice collection of connections including two HDMIs's. For my TV/TiVO needs, I don't care about S-Video. I use an HDMI connection. Enjoy it! |

| I received this TV as a early Xmas present. The picture quality on this TV is awesome! I also tried using this TV as a monitor since it has a VGA port and it worked perfectly. I don't know much about LED TVs vs. LCD TVs but like I said earlier the picture quality is pretty awesome and this TV looks really cool. |
Amazing HDTV if you have external speakers

My birthday is in the beginning of may and i got this present a bit early, 2 days ago I actually bought this when it was $230 instead of $300, so yeah.
The Tv itself is 24 inches and outputs in 1080p. It comes with Component, 2 HDMI Ports, VGA, S-video and a Rf port.
The Remote that comes with it is light, responsive and overall a good design.
The Built in sound is pretty terrible. I played Some Modern Warfare 2 before i plugged in the Amazing speakers i bought prior to this, Basically, the built in speakers are really bad. It has a Headphones slot which can be used for headphones and speakers.
Pros:
- Light and pretty thin.
- The best HD possible.
- Sleak, Shiny Black Color.
- Remote and Buttons are responsive, fast, and easy.
- Picture is fully adjustable, same with sound.
- Low Price (At least when i bought it)
- LCD, Meaning no glares or outside showers appear on the screen.
- Perfect size if your about 5-7 feet away from it.
Cons:
- Built in speakers are terrible.
- 5ms response time, which can be good and bad for different people.

I bought 2 of these LED24VF60's from Amazon.com because after getting the 1st one, I liked the TV so much. It's surprisingly lightweight for a 24" TV (only ~ 11 lbs with stand) and the picture was bright & vivid on Blu-ray and HD channels. Some important things about the TV:
The buttons on the top of the TV: Menu, Channel +/-, Volume +/-, Input and Power.
I/O ports on the left side panel: RF Antenna In, Composite Video In, Component Video In, Audio Left & Right In (for Composite and Component Video).
I/O ports on back: 12V DC Power In, 2 HDMI's, VGA In, PC Audio In, Coax Digital Audio Out, Headphone Out.
Remote: RC3008V, buttons: 0-9 numeric keys, -/-- button for subchannels, Previous channel, Picture mode, Sound mode, Sleep timer (from 5 to 240 mins), Display (to show info of current digital channel), Vol +/-, Ch +/-, Mute, Thumbstick >/Up/Down/OK keys, CC, MTS, EPG, FAVorite channels.
Power Adapter: KPA-060F, 60W, Input: 100-240V, 50-60Hz, 1.7A, Output: 12V, 5A.
The picture was excellent but the sound was pretty bad (like the sound from a $5 AM radio). It's understandable because the TV and its bezel are so thin, there is no way for the manufacturer to put big speakers on it. I hooked up a pair of Logitech speakers to the TV for good sound. This TV has 4 VESA 100x100 screw holes on the back with 4 screws included. Because the TV is thin, these screws should be used when we wall-mount or desk-mount the TV as longer screws might damage the internal parts of the TV. I first used one of the 2 TVs I bought as a PC monitor in my bedroom but the remote control of the Samsung T260HD in the same bedroom kept turning this TV ON/OFF and controlled it as well (The remote control of the Viore also controlled the Samsung shamelessly). It's pretty annoying so I had to move the Viore to another bedroom. Some websites said this Viore was built with Samsung OEM parts and I believe that :) . I believe we can use the Samsung codes to program this TV on the cable box or universal remote controls. I highly recommend this TV to the people who are shopping for a bedroom/small room TV that can also be used as a PC monitor. |
